Hello there readers of the world! Welcome back to my blog and today I’ll be interviewing the lovely and talented Kelly Anne Blount whose stories will

I'll also be reviewing her sexy novel Impassioned. I've included her bio below. Let me just make it clear, Miss Kelly was so nice to me when I asked for this interview. She was very kind and was enthusiastic.
Kelly Anne Blount was born in Madison, WI. After attending university, she moved to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands to teach elementary school. While living there, she met the love of her life and was married in a beautiful ceremony on the Caribbean Sea.
After returning stateside, Kelly started to pursue another passion, writing. Since writing her debut bestselling young adult fantasy novel, Grishma, she has written the sequel, Ayla, and is currently working on the third book in The Necoh Saga. Kelly has also written the first book, Impassioned, in her contemporary romance, Hard Love Series.
Continuing to improve upon her craft, Kelly started working on a young adult horror/dark thriller/mystery novel, Captured. Within five months, over 2.7 million people fell in love with this twisted story on Wattpad.
Due to her success, Kelly was selected to contribute a novel to Pandora, a paranormal box set. Putting a paranormal twist on Captured, Kelly created Shade. In less than a month, Pandora became a USA TODAY BESTSELLER!
When she isn’t writing, Kelly can be found spending time with the love of her life, their furry rescues, and enjoying the beautiful sites of Asheville, North Carolina.
1. What prompted you to start writing?
I’ve always loved to read and write! I became serious about writing in 2012 after reading Amanda Hocking’s Trylle Trilogy. She had some amazing blog posts about writing and getting your work out there in the world. She totally inspired me to begin writing my debut novel, GRISHMA!
2. Did you always use Wattpad when you started writing your first book?
No, I had three books published before my friend Apryl Baker told me about Wattpad. I signed up and began writing CAPTURED, which has now been read more than fourteen million times!
3. How did it feel like when you finished your first novel?
Finishing my first novel was incredible! I felt a sense of accomplishment, relief, and I totally did a happy dance!
4. What was it like when you sold it to Limitless Publishing?
Selling my first novel to Limitless was a huge accomplishment. I am so grateful for the awesome team at Limitless for all their hard work and believing in me from the very beginning!
5. What's inspiring about your story as that you went from an unknown author to selling her book, becoming a Wattpad star and then becoming a USA Today bestselling author! How did it feel when you got the news?
I think what is most inspiring about my story is that everyone is capable of great things! Hard work, putting yourself out there, and making the right connections can help you accomplish great things.
Apryl Baker called me late at night and told me the great news! Hitting the USA TODAY Bestseller’s list was one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to me!
6. We have news that your books have been optioned for film/TV. Can you give us any updates about it?
Yes! So exciting! I’ll have some exciting updates soon, but nothing I can share just yet. Keep an eye on my social media pages for additional updates!
7. What are you working on next?
I’m finishing up the third book in the Necoh Saga and I’m working on a new and exciting project. I’m really excited about both!
8. Out of all your books which is your favorite and why?
Hmmm… That’s a tricky question! Honestly, I love each my books! Each have their own special place in my heart.

Leaving for L.A. is a perfect opportunity for Harper to start afresh. But it’s not long until she finds herself facing decisions that will question what and who she wants.
Will Harper find a way to forgive or will she find a new path for happiness?
The story focuses on Harper who is an wreck… emotionally though. The poor woman’s love and man of her future tells her that face line of needing more space. I don’t blame Harper when she disagrees and thinks that he’s the one. When she opens up to other opportunities she finds that it's possible she was wrong.
The story then progresses from there. I really enjoyed this novel. It has all of the things it needs to be a terrific one as well. You have good strong and finally read characters that are in situations that could happen to you.
It was nice to have Harper in this story because you follow her grow and it’s very inspiring.
It’s simply a sexy and loving story about this young woman’s journey of self-discovery. While trying to get her life refocused, Harper meets Ethan. The connection is immediate and passionate.
Add in jealousy in the book and you won’t be disappointed. The sex scenes though were very well done. Blount knows what she’s doing here but it seems as if some of them weren’t up to par with the others.
However don’t go for this book just for the sex. Go for the story and the sex scenes are tender indeed!
Would I recommend it?
Yep!
