Hi Guys! Welcome back to my blog. Before you say anything, I know I haven't updated anything but, it's because I've been on a vacation, and I'm super busy with writing! Anyway, today I have a real treat. I'll be interviewing USA TODAY Bestselling Author Vanessa Vale, reviewing one of her books and hosting a giveaway!
BIO
Vanessa Vale is the USA Today Bestselling author of over 30 books, sexy romance novels, including her popular Bridgewater historical romance series and hot contemporary romances featuring unapologetic bad boys who don't just fall in love, they fall hard. When she's not writing, Vanessa savors the insanity of raising two boys, is figuring out how many meals she can make with a pressure cooker, and teaches a pretty mean karate class. While she's not as skilled at social media as her kids, she loves to interact with readers.

INTERVIEW
- What prompted you to start writing?
A dare! A guy at work found out I liked to read romance. He wondered how hard it could be to write romance (yeah, how hard can it be?!) and we both said we'd write a romance book (he was an English Lit major at the time). Needless to say, I wrote one and he didn't. And it's NOT easy!
- What made you become indie?
I was ready! It's like a kid heading to Kindergarten. You just know when it's time to let the kid go.
- Let's talk about Claim Me Hard, how did the character of Hannah come to you?
I wanted a super smart heroine, even smarter than the heroes. While she's independent and can take care of herself, I wanted a heroine who has two guys to watch out for her. To protect her and be there for her when she needed it.
- I love Cole and Declan! Whom do you love more, and why?
I write two heroes so I don't have to choose!! I love both of them. One is a true cowboy, the other a man of the law. Both will kick a$$ and take names if someone bothers Hannah. Don't we all want a guy--or two--like that?!
- How do you find inspiration for your stories?
I read. Lots and lots of books. I love all kinds of heroes and pick a little bit from different ones to make up my men. I also live in the Wild West where there's plenty of 'research' material!
- You write lots of menage! How do you manage to write the steamy scenes (a.k.a) have you ever experienced it?
I don't have two cowboys in my bedroom!! It would be pretty crowded with me and my husband and he doesn't kiss and tell.
- You were a USA TODAY Bestseller! How did it feel when you got the news?
I freaked. I had no idea I hit the list and when I saw it, I did a double take at the computer screen. It was super early in the morning before I had to get kids up for school and I screamed. I called my BFF and couldn't dial right because my hands were shaking!
- Do you have any advice for indie authors?
Read what you want to write. All the time. Find out what's selling and then write, write and write some more! Find friends who write what you do. They can be virtual friends you find on Facebook. People who can support you in your journey even if you can't find them at home. GOOD LUCK!
- eBook or Paperback which, do you prefer?
I love my eReader, but I do visit my library all the time. I travel a lot and I couldn't do it without my eReader. My back can't handle the book load anymore!
- Out all of the books you've written, which is your favorite?
Fight For Her. I relate to the heroine the most and Gray... yeah, he melts my butter.
REVIEW
Alright guys, today I'll be reviewing Claim Me Hard.
The story focuses on Hannah. This chick is running away from a past that she doesn't like to talk about (we all have crazy ex boyfriends, right?). I loved Hannah soooo much! I've read books before with heroines who are running away from their pas
ts but, they've annoyed me a lot. Hannah on the other hand, is different. She was so strong and yet, soft at the same time.

Then we have the two men, Declan and Cole. It's like love at first sight, or sex at first sight (if that's what you wanna call it) Because they know instantly Hannah is the one for the two. Their idea is so cute and hot. To show Hannah they'll be great husbands, they show her how life would be with them, and how good it would be.
NO MORE DETAILS.
Claim Me Hard captivated me from the start. The writing is wonderful, tastefully written. Vale doesn't hold back on storytelling, she knows what she's doing. She uses the elements of 'sweet romance' when it comes to the characters. Declan and Cole are protective, yet sharp when it comes to the other aspects.
It also felt, realistic. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well, it really tied into the story. I have never lived in the western side of the U. S. But, after reading this novel... I WANNA GO!
And the menage you may ask... You'll need to take about three cold showers after reading this novel. Godddddd, it was so *sizzling*
OVERALL, I'D SAY HELL YEAH TO THIS NOVEL!
